REFRIED ECTOPLASM is a compilation of rare tracks, most of which were originally released on 7-inch vinyl between July 1992 and March 1994, with two previously unreleased tracks, track 8 and 11.

Tracks 1 and 12 were previously released on the 7" Harmonium / Farfisa (7/92, Duophonic Super 45's DS45 04).
Tracks 2 and 13 were previously released on the 7" Lo Boob Oscilator / Tempter (10/93, Sub Pop SP 107).
Track 3 was previously published on the 7" tour only split Unrest / Stereolab (11/93, Teenbeat 121).
Track 4 was previously published on the 2x7" compilation Shimmies In Super 8 (Duophonic Super 45's DS45 05/06).
Track 5 was previously published on the CD-single/7" French Disko (3/94, Duophonic Ultra High Frequency Disks D-UHF-CD01P or D-UHF-D03).
Tracks 6 and 9 were previously published on the Nurse With Wound collaborative 10" Crumb Duck (10/93, Clawfist XPIG 20).
Tracks 7 and 10 were previously published on the 7" John Cage Bubblegum (2/93, Slumberland).
Track 8 was intented to be released on a split 7" with Spectrum for a joint tour that never happened.
Track 11 was intended to be published on the 7" on Duophonic Super 45's, but remained unpublished. Recording at the same time as Low Fi
