it seems that we often think of miracles, or wonders, as something rare, exceptional, set aside, mystical, apart from our everyday experiences. in truth, we are surrounded by little miracles, common wonders, all the time, so much so that they have seemingly become invisible to us. the sound of wind through trees, the regeneration of our cells and the intelligence within them, the color of an evening sky, the breath that enters and leaves our body, the refraction of light through a glass of water, even the shear persistence and spontaneity of life. we often overlook these micro moments for something grander. perhaps the real wonder is that these more ephemeral moments are analogues leading us to meaning deeply seated within our being.
