KLANGBOX is a release series with audio(visual) sets that refer to sound art and express a variety of perspectives, every set is around 30 minutes long. Each edition is presenting four different approaches while the musicians are invited to question familiar sounds and instruments. Boundary areas are explored - be it through classical instruments, electronic production, avant-garde approaches, improvisation or ideas linked to visual expressions. The visual works are also available as limited art prints, the audio works as limited edition double cassette boxes and digital releases.

SUDDEN BEACH & CHUNLI WANG
Mehmet Güren aka Sudden Beach is a self-taught composer, producer, performer and audiovisual artist. He started experimenting with modular synthesizers and is now even developing his own instrument. The works of the Taiwanese visual artist ChunLi Wang deal with new types of time and space perceptions and expand them through interactive visual programming. Together they create audio-visual live experiences, each unique and improvised.

MARTYNA POZNAŃSKA
Martyna Poznańska is an interdisciplinary artist who works with different media across disciplines, building connections between the intangible medium of sound and solid matter. This includes the practice of active listening and field recording in tangent to working with various visual tools such as video, installation, her own body, and drawing, as well as listening workshops and soundwalks.

STEFAN HADJIEV
After graduating from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, Stefan Hadjiev distinguished himself on the international concert scene as a versatile and innovative artist who always looks beyond the standard definitions of music-making and dedicates himself to a very diverse repertoire. In doing so, he repeatedly removes the boundaries between the musical genres and unfolds a radical interpretive aesthetic that throws new light on the essence of music. He was co-founder of "180 °", an innovative festival in Sofia (Bulgaria) for experimental music and interdisciplinary art.

JAMAICA SUK
Born in Northern California, Berlin-based producer Jamaica Suk has developed into an experimental musician who combines post-modern forms of melody and industrial drive in her sets. In her signature distorted melodies and hints of melancholic bass guitar, you might hear where Suk started - playing bass guitar in jazz, grindcore and math rock bands, before getting deep into the Bay Area’s house and techno underground. A lifelong musician and experimenter, Suk has fused her jazz and metal roots with a feel for soulful techno, a combination that makes her at home leading driving dancefloor workouts across Europe.
