20 years ago Swastyka horde was born out of Polish ancestral spirit, elder faith mysticism and ariosophic ideas. It was 1999, and the Polish black metal scene was on it's peak, when we recorded The Prophecies of the Aryan Moon demo, in an underground Warsaw studio.
That same year, The Pagan front was formed, a brotherhood that united the uncompromising bands, labels and zines in an axis of cooperation and preservation of the original spirit of black metal as an atavistic representation of white man's creative force. An international organization, individuals from all around Europe and the US were part of it. Swastyka members were one of it's founding members and staunchest supporters.
The demo consisted of three tracks, the intro, title song, and a Burzum cover. The cover was recorded for the upcoming Burzum tribute, Visions, yet, due to the ideas that the band was faithful to, the label decided to not publish the song that Swastyka has recorded.
The Prophecies was originally released on tape, by Russian label Stellar Winter. This release is the only complete re-release of the original material, with and improved sound. Swastyka lit the blaze that now is being carried by Sunwheel. The fire is sustained by the ancestors spirits that are watching over us all. The blood and the soil are our heritage an the witness to the hymns that are still being sung!
