Following their first release on Lockdown Recordings, Superior Selectionz have become a
regular fixture on the Bristol D&B circuit as resident DJs at Intrigue and with regular
appearances on Passion FM. During this time the southwest based trio have been focusing in
the studio forming their sound and have produced a wide range of new material covering
classic and minimal rollers to more soulful flavours.

Superior Selectionz are back with a brand new EP, ‘Held Under’ on Lockdown Digital that
showcases a deeper, darker sound and classy production skills.

The title track ‘Held Under’ comes with a deep, old skool vibe with an early Metalheadz
influence and combines dark mentazm stabs with rolling amens, jungle bass and punching
808’s.

‘Hidden’ features haunting vocals from Sam A’ Court, with a cool, cold and minimal vibe,
combining stepping beats and ultra-low sub bass.

‘Confronted’ features classic rolling breaks, vocal samples and deep atmospheres that build
and drop into a deep jungle bass line.

The final track on the EP is ‘Taken’ which has dark and futuristic vibe with sinister vocal
samples, classy edited breaks and lurching bass stabs.

Lockdown releases receive regular international radio and club support from some of the
biggest DJ’s in D&B including: Grooverider (Radio 1/1Xtra) Bailey (1Xtra), Goldie, Hype
(Kiss), Crissy Cris (1Xtra), A - Sides, Flight, Serial Killaz, Marcus Intalex, Insiders, Klute,
