This was just a few promotions distributed in the 60s fashion market, not the record market.
This is a non-commercial item designed to popularize washing knitwear and sweaters with a fully automatic washing machine.
On July 1, 1965, Hitachi, Ltd. and Renown and Lion Corporation (detergent company) co-sponsored and published this publication
under the supervision of 洗濯科学協会 (Japan Laundry Science Association)
It seems that this association was a group of diffusion of machines fully automatic washing at this time.
They say it's safe to clean knits and sweaters using detergents and washing machines in this book called "くらしと洗濯" (Life and laundry).
