Renown is a Japan-based company whose activities
main ones are the production of textiles and clothing.
Renown has become a Japanese fashion leader in the 1960s.
Mieko Hirota was a Japanese female pop star,
Mieko sang a Renown’s commercial song in 1964.

Renown's TV commercial featured a fashion leader
popular among young women at that time.
Renown shot the commercial with $10,000 contract in 1965,
when Sylvie Vartan first arrived in Japan.

This CM song performed by the greatest female singers
from Japan and France and it won the Japanese CM award of that time.
This Japanese CM popularized pop art and Ye Ye.
Track 1 Sylvie Vartan - Wansaka Musume was recorded in 1965.
Track 2 Mieko Hirota - Wansaka Musume was recorded in 1964.

This CM song sung by fashion leaders of Sylvie Vartan and
Mieko Hirota became a big topic, but Japanese Record companies
couldn't release this CM song because the record companies
they belonged to were different.
Mieko Hirota belongs to Japanese Columbia Records
and Sylvie Vartan is belongs to Japanese Victor Records.

So This was not for sale.
It have been a special gift from Renown to some of the best retailers.
"RENOWN young coordinates Ye Ye" is printed at the bottom right
of the cover, So you can see that this is a special logo instead
of the usual Renown logo.

This is a unique design using the color of the French flag
known as the blue, white and red tricolor.
It is allowing to maintain the disc by folding the flap upper
and lower red and blue.
It is made as a trendy message card that folds on both sides.
This is a gift reserved for retailers with high sales.
