These pieces were originally recorded decades ago on analog reel-to-reel tape. The recordings contained sonic flaws such as hum and pitch variation that were not easily correctable using a razor blade and splicing tape. In remixing and remastering them using today's digital technology, the integrity of the original recordings was maintained throughout every step. Each individual part was encoded as a digital WAV file, defects were fixed, EQ and pitch correction applied, and then the tracks were remixed. Only the original recorded elements were utilized; not a single "new" sound was added.
