Twelve page booklet includes liner notes in Japanese by Takeo Yamashita's son, Toru, Japan Detective Writers Club and Mogura-Dan, plus notation for "Black Cat" and dialogue/chorus/lyrics for "Black Footsteps" by Seiichi Ida.

Both traycard and booklet tracklistings erroneously title the 1960 release 黒い影 ("Black Shadow") instead of 黒い足音 ("Black Footsteps").
