Tanto (Kostas Makrinos) is a sound artist and experimental filmmaker among others.
His multi-disciplinary approach feels right at home with Lärmschutz.
On this release, both artists send each other source material to mess with. Lärmschutz recorded a track of acoustic trombone and acoustic guitar, that Tanto happily strangled the life out of. In the other direction, Lärmschutz merrily sucked the violin tracks Tanto sent dry into a distorted mess of sounds.
The result is a hypnotizing cinematic listening experience, that definitely works best with headphones.
