"Sydney duo Teen Ax, made up of Sam Chiplin (Housewives) and Toney McKey (the almighty Pleasure Bros), have been making a cacophonous noise for the last few years now with releases on Mazurka Editions and their own Street Muscle imprint. In contrast to their usual balls-out wall of guitar noise style scree, this is a much creepier affair. Guitars are the primary source in this drooling tangle, but silence figures just as heavily. Sounds pretty close to some of the sounds issued by Breakdance The Dawn over the last millennia."
