* Track 01, "How Great Thou Art," was originally written by Carl Boberg in 1885 and had two new verses added by by Stuart K. Hine in 1948.

* Track 02, "Abide With Me" was originally written by Henry Francis Lyte in 1820 and sung to the music of "Eventide" that was composed by William Henry Monk.

* Track 03, "Shall We Gather At The River," was originally written and composed by Robert Lowry in 1864 and is now in public domain. Also known under its original name, "Hanson Place"

* Track 04, "In The Garden" was originally written by C. Austin Miles in 1912. It is also known as "I Come to the Garden Alone."

* Track 05, "Old Time Religion," is a song by an unknown artist that dates back to around 1873. It is also known as "(Give Me That) Old-Time Religion."

* Track 06, "Holy, Holy, Holy," lyrics were written by Reginald Heber in 1826 set to the music of "NICAEA" by John Bacchus Dykes. "NICAEA" was a tribute to the Roman Emperor Constantine I who formalized the doctrine of the Trinity through his First Council of Nicaea.

* Track 07, "I Need Thee Every Hour," was written by Annie S. Hawks in 1872 with a refrain written by Robert Lowry.

* Track 08, "The Church In The Wildwood," was written by Dr. William S. Pitts in 1857. It is about a church that was not even built until several years later.

* Track 09, "Sweet Hour Of Prayer," was written by W. W. Walford in 1845 to music written by William B. Bradbury. The credits on this CD spells Bradbury name wrong as W. 'Bradford.'

* Track 10, "What A Friend We Have In Jesus," was written by Joseph M. Scriven sometime in the mid 1860's. He wrote it to his mother who was dying. Charles C. Converse (under the pseudonym Karl Reden) added music to Scriven's poem and published it in 1970.

* Track 11, "Bringing In The Sheaves," was written by Knowles Shaw in 1874. Although Shaw had written music for this, it is usually set to music by George A. Minor, mistakenly listed on the back of this CD as as George A. Monor.

* Track 12, "Just As I Am, Without One Plea," was written by Charlotte Elliott in 1835. It was set to the music of "Woodworth" composed by William B. Bradbury in 1849.

* Track 13, "The Old Rugged Cross" was written by George Bennard in 1912.

* Track 14, "His Eye Is On The Shadow," was written by Civilla D. Martin in 1905 to music composed by Charles H. Gabriel written in 1906. Originally called ""His Eye Is on the Sparrow."

* Track 15, "Jesus, Keep Me Near the Cross" was written by Fanny J. Crosby and set to music composed by William H. Doane. It was published in 1869 and is also sometimes known as "In the Cross."

* Track 16, "I Love To Tell The Story, was written by Kate Hankey in 1866 with the refrain written by William G. Fischer.

* Track 17, "Blest Be The Tie That Binds," was written by John Fawcett in 1872 set to music composed by Hans Georg Nägeli. John Fawcett is not credited on this CD release.

* Track 18, "Nearer My God To Thee," was written by Sarah Flower Adams in 1841 (listed on this CD as S.T. Adams) and set to music by her sister, Eliza Flower. However, the song is usually sung to Lowell Mason's song, "Bethany."
