From 1977 to 1978, Teresa Teng recorded a total of 28 Indonesian songs at the recording studio of Indra Record in Indonesia. Part of these songs is Indonesian traditional folk melodies, including cover versions of popular songs by the famous Indonesian vocalist Eddy Silitonga. The rest are selected from Mandarin and Japanese songs performed by Teresa Teng.
These Indonesian songs were released on 7 omnibus cassettes by Indra Record from 1977 to 1983. Indra Record owns all the mastertapes of Teresa's Indonesian songs and it's also a witness to her career life in Indonesia.
