A bunch of Lowry people stand outside the Albion Mill in Wakefield. They stare out of curiosity at a young man who wears his hair and face like a Cortez.

He's there to have his photograph taken against a background of crumbling tenements and the Albion Mill. His face seems strained and knowing and he has the deep-set eyes of a dreamer. He walks about awkwardly, covered from head to toe in a mixture of leather and blue denim, and he seems uneasy.

He is not a local boy whose made a quick million or an advertising model. His name is Durham and he once worked at the Albion Mill.
