Australian WRC pressing, sourced from original stampers and featuring unique sleeve art. The first in a new numbering system, the 8000 series was reserved for established artists, and recordings, not necessarily available in stereo - the 7000 series was for the Club's own recordings, with stereo versions always available. This 1952 recording is unlikely to have been issued in stereo.

"LM 8001" on sleeve, "8001" on labels - no stereo version issued, it seems. Issued again in a special two-for-one offer in April 1962 - look for "The Griffin Press" on the back of the sleeve at bottom right in small lettering.
