Recorded at Englewood Studios April - September 1982, Brenell Mini 8. Additional recording and mixing at Atmosphere Studios October - December 1982.

'Trail of Tears' was originally part of the Invisible Men sessions and was previous released on the 'Harvest of the Heart' compilation.

'The Ballad of Penlee' was inspired by the Penlee lifeboat disaster in 1983. Recorded at Vic's Place, April 1983; remixed October '90.

'Exocet' was only previously released on the American version. The running order has been switched to that of the originally intended one.
