After the very intensive and brutal sessions I did for the "All The Way Until December" album, I was exhausted and wanted to take a break, but I knew that Reno had a set a deadline for a single on his wonderful label so I knew I had to come up with something special. I was determined to do something so different than what I did on the last album that I almost had to change my whole approach to recording.

I used my old Marshall Valve state amp cranked up and recorded about 3 or 4 guitar tracks all playing the same chords. I added a bit of tremolo and delay on a couple tracks, soaked the entire thing in reverb, lit it on fire and threw it in the lake.

The B side is actually an outtake from the "All The Way Until December Sessions." For some reason I couldn't get it to fit in with that album. It's a very interesting song coming after "Lemonade Kiss". It actually sounds more like The Arctic Flow than the single does. Gotta keep it dreamy.

Is this single a new direction? I really don't know. I know there is talk of a more ambient/drone project in the works, but we'll have to wait and see. Hopefully the response on this one will be good.
