Stereo Version.
The "PMCQ" period:
As for the singles, Beatles LPs from "The Beatles Story" to "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" were available in their original Carisch vinyl version on the black Parlophone label, although housed in the new EMI reprint covers which maintain the same layout and catalogue numbers of the respective earlier Carisch releases. Only the logo on the covers was changed to EMI-PARLOPHONE. On the first reissue the title on the spine is correctly written, while on all subsequent reprints, where the title is printed in the opposite direction, "Sgt." is written "Sgs." and "Pepper's" is written "Peppers" (questa versione ndr). This error was never corrected.
Every LP/single (originally released by EMI with only the old Parlophon number) re-released with the double-number "PMCQ+062" (LP) or "QMSP+006" (single) was pressed between April 1969 to late February 1970. We can also distinguish pressing made between April 1969 -circa January/mid-February 1970 in case BIEM is on the label, and pressing made in late February in case SIAE and/or Dir.Ris. is on the label.
