Released on August 5, 1966, it topped the UK album chart for seven weeks, and in the US, Capitol released an 11-track version that topped Billboard's album chart for six weeks. A special edition of "Revolver" [4LP + 7 inch single: Super Deluxe].

The 14 tracks on Revolver have been newly mixed by producer Giles Martin and engineer Sam Okell. And the original mono mix of the album uses the 1966 mono master tape.

The deluxe booklet included with the Super Deluxe includes a foreword by Paul McCartney, an introduction by Giles Martin, a heartfelt and enlightening essay by Questlove, and Beatles scholar/author/radio producer Kevin Howlett. Featuring insightful chapters and detailed track descriptions.

Also included in the booklet are rare, unpublished photographs, handwritten lyrics, tape boxes, and never-before-seen images of recording notes, as well as a 1966 printed advertisement and Foreman's graphic novel Birth. of an icon: REVOLVER”.
