In 1976 George Martin wanted to update the sound of certain early Beatles tracks and some of the later songs as well. While hoping he was upgrading, and he was, George was actually creating a monster. A lot of folks, The Beatles included, were against, somebody messing with the original mixes. After all they had been "butchered" years early by the American company Capitol Records, now they were being again, but this time within their own EMI camp!

Now, many years later, upon listening to these versions really loud you can't beat the artistry of these mixes. You won't be disappointed! And don't forget, it's stereo!
