Live At Zirkus Krone Bau, Munich, 24 June 1966
Very good mono recording!
The whole afternoon show was filmed by German television, but only six songs were screened, when a 45 minute-summary of the concert (with songs from all support acts) was shown on TV a few days later. The original master tapes of the film were erased soon afterwards. But only recently a portion of I WANNA BE YOUR MAN and a complete version of I'M DOWN from the evening concert were unearthed from rare newsreel footage. And there's a short bit from Hamburg (taken from a newsreel as well).

Live at Candlestick Park, San Francisco, 29 August 1966
Very good audience recording
The famous last-ever Beatles live concert, taped for posterity by The Beatles' press agent Tony Barrow - on Paul's request. The Beatles knew that it would be their last concert, so to make sure to end up on a high note, they play a very good show here, especially when you compare it to the Munich and Tokyo concerts from this last year where boredom rules and the musicianship is quite sloppy! The Beatles even end this concert with LONG TALL SALLY, like they did in the early days, but after only a few bars Tony Barrow's tape runs out - and the rest is silence!
