"These songs were taken off cassette recordings of radio broadcasts. We had the original tapes at one stage but alas no more...Bad moods, theft and mould took care of that it seems."Tracks 1 to 9 recorded (live) at VPRO Studio, Hilversum, The Netherlands on 2 September 1987. Tracks 13 & 14 also recorded then but not broadcast.
Tracks 10 to 12 recorded (live) at VPRO Studio, Hilversum, The Netherlands on 29 May 1990.
Track 10: In the interview with Damo, the interviewer says “you won’t be shot here, I assure you”. 50 days later, Damo, Kent and Damo’s girlfriend at the time, Mercia, were involved in an armed hold-up in a Post Office in Amsterdam. Damo was shot in the hand and hospitalised. Being a rock and roll soldier he played the gig that night.
Tracks 15 to 20 recorded (live) at Paddington RSL on 13 March 1992 for Triple J radio's program 'Live at the Wireless'.
On the disc artwork and rear sleeve 22 tracks are listed, but the CD only contains 20 tracks:
Track 19 = 'Johnny' and 'Back in the Red'.
Track 20 = 'Baby Please Don't Go' (a live Big Joe Williams cover) and 'Electravision Mantra'.
This CD is housed in a cardboard gatefold digifile sleeve.
