A limited amount of CDr's were pressed to promote the 35th anniversary vinyl edition. Appart from serving as a promo CD, this version of the release was also made available to people who pre-ordered Strange Times through Moochin' About's Bandcamp site.

Mispress. Includes only 5 of the 6 bonus tracks (Tomorrow Never Knows is missing).Comes in a cardboard sleeve which is a faithful reproduction of the vinyl record sleeve Strange Times. No credits or track durations listed.

A second CDr with the full 16 tracks was included as a replacement. This CDr came in a generic PVC sleeve.
Visually, the CDr's can easily be distinguished: the mispress has no text whatsoever, whereas the replacement features the band name and CD title.

The error later was rectified and a correct 16-track CDr was sent out in cardboard sleeve: Strange Times.
