Album Info

Release Date: 1980

Label: Varulven

Third version of this release:
• Issued in a conventionally-printed pocket sleeve with "Modern Pop Classics" graphics to match the 1980 Moe Tucker/Love And Flame 45.
• Lighter-colored labels and pressing rings are similar to the second pressing. (Matrix/runouts are identical for all pressings.)
• Includes the same 8.5" x14" insert ‘booklet’ and postcard inserts as the second pressing.
• Some inner-sleeves are rubber-stamped with a Woburn, MA address that came into use in 1981 or late 1980. (Joe Viglione's original Arlington MA address still appears on the labels.)

This version was not originally sold in the U.S., and in fact the entire edition was reportedly stolen by a UK distributor, who ended up selling the lot to the Music Box shop in France. They sold so well, however, that Viglione got a record deal from owner Patrick Mathé’s Flamingo record label for the I'm A Star LP, then did three more on Mathé’s New Rose Records.

Front sleeve states 'The Count' as the Artist/Performer. The labels state 'The Count/Joseph Allen Viglione'.
Lyric insert: Copyright © 1976 by Joseph Allen Viglione.
