The fluorescent gothic landscapes of the Irish midlands are evoked on this cosmically infused album by The Cube of Unknowing. Bog Phosphors is an ode to the bogland plains of his childhood home in east County Galway — an area which combines the apocalyptic terrain of stripped peat fields, soggy sphagnum marshes and fertile wetlands.
