Recorded in Rat Scabies' home studio, consisting of a loop of The Stooges' song "Gimme Danger", over which Brian James improvised guitar and sound effects. The title is a reference to composer, pianist and conductor Sergei Prokofiev.

2000 copies were pressed for sale on the US leg of the band's reunion tour starting at The Ritz, New York on September 20, 1991. Early copies came with a picture sleeve that was ultimately withdrawn (found here: Prokofiev). Most copies came in a generic sleeve.

Side A was remixed and released on Not Of This Earth and I'm Alright Jack And The Bean Stalk.
