Notes from the release:
"In 2006, much to my surprise, I found myself making music again after a long gap, The Entomology of Sound came out of those early experiments. With hindsight, there were things that I would have done differently and some things I wouldn't have done at all.
10 years later the opportunity arose to release some of that material. In preparing this CD I've been in the fortunate position of being able to rework and edit a lot of the material and use material from closely related projects. So this isn't so much The Entomology of Sound as it was in 2006, rather, I think of it as the 'best of' the early life of The Darkening Scale.
