Track 1: Originally written for a friend's mother: Cheryl. Recorded on a Gibson Pete Townsend custom SG. Produced at 'Inch'.
Track 2: 3 AM Portastudio tune; I recorded songs whilst Rachel completed her dissertation at Les Thompson's house.
Track 3: In Laurie Laptops cellar, one of scores of pieces Laurie and I have recorded over the years, with the help of heroic amounts of Ganja. The sample voices are amongst the earliest known field recordings ever made.
Track 4: Laurie and I were asked by Anthony H Wilson to do a track in corpora ting remarks recorded during one of the debates from Anthony's forum.
Track 5: Portastudio demo, not sure what the lyrics mean? Three different songs in one.
Track 6: Old lyrics. An opportunity to record a simple riff on my Juan Montero Flamenco guitar.
Track 7: Dedicated to my beloved sister. An ancient track discovered recently, recorded and produced by Laurie Laptop, very repetitive. This mutated into something else later on an album.
Track 8: Written, recorded, programmed, mixed, mastered in ninety minutes at Martin Jackson's house for fun because I love New Order. Tried to imitate Bernard's deadpan vocal style.
Track 9: First attempt to try this song out at Keir's Studio with Elli Rudge on vocals.
Track 10: Portastudio demo never recorded properly. Vocals sound weird, 'cos I didn't have a proper microphone, but I did have pretentious lyrics.
Track 11: Originally from 'Time Was Gigantic...' Laurie Laptop pulling all the FX he could find on the track.
Track 12: Portastudio track title is a quote used by Bruce Mitchell on many occasions but always with a smile.
Track 13: Little Portastudio tune recorded around the time of Tempus Fugit.
Track 14: A Jewish friend of mine: Danny used this word to tell me he was very touched by our friendship. Where does this word come from? Bruce Mitchell on drums, on one of the first recordings we ever made together. MAVUCHA!
