"These recordings were taken during work undertaken to produce a series of interactives for the Air Pavilion at Magna Science Adventure Center in Templeborough, Rotherham during 2001-02.

The recordings were taken during the production and instillation of the interactives on sight in Rotherham, and during a subsequent visit after the work was completed.

The recordings document the designed audio presentations and the the sound from the activity of the visitors within the volume of the Magna building.

Magna is a Millennium Commission, Lottery Funded Project, designed to educate all ages about science and technology. The exhibition is housed within the old Templeborough Steel Works exhibiting some of the original industrial furniture including one of the electric arc furnaces that used to help produce the steel that came out of the works up until it production stopped in 1993."

While all text on the site and the included notes names the project as "The Experience", the cover image shows it as "Work Experience".
