Description on back: Here is the bright new sound from south of the border. The musical excitement is being generated by one of Mexico’s most talented rhythm groups the El Presidente Trio. The trio for and in 1960 to play the plush L Presidente hotel in Acapulco, and engagement which lasted five years. Since then they have a peer that many of the top clubs in Mexico the United States and Canada. One of the highlights was a special performance in the White House and event arranged for President Johnson by Mr. Antonio Carlos Florez, Mexican ambassador to the United States. The trio also had line shows at the Mexican pavilion at the New York world’s fair and appeared for two weeks at the New York Playboy club.
