The title of their album is taken from the name of their weekly Sunday morning radio broadcast, which emanated from The First Church of the Open Bible in Galesburg, Illinois. The group performs as a vocal trio on all but two selections, "Born to Love the Lord" and "I'll Tell It Wherever I Go," both of which feature Naomi Flynn as a soloist.

Track A3 was popularized by Cowboy Copas and is more commonly known by the title "The Silver That Nailed Him To The Cross."
