A total of 15 test pressings were made for DR098, 5 with the matrix 170548O1/A & 170548O2/A were rejected and 10 repressed copies with the matrix 170548O1/B & 170548O2/A were accepted, and these were pressed with white labels but one had side A printed on.

Rejected test pressing copy for The Gents single DR098 mispressed with A side tracks 1 & 2 in wrong order on disc.
(This was due to a error at the pressing plant at metalwork stage as the tracks were cut into the master in wrong order, but was not discovered until the test pressings were sent back to Detour Records to be approved.
This version was rejected as the band wanted the tracks as they had originally intended them and also the sleeves had already been printed up, there for the original release date for the single had to be delayed as a new correct master plate had to be cut so pressing could commence of the E.p.
This is one of the rejected discs sold to help cover the cost of the replacement A side plate.)

This test pressing has it's info on a pressing plant sticker, on front of it's clear sleeve, and names the manufacturing agency it was made for as AGR Manufacturing, and giving the pressing date for this disc as 6.2.2018.
