Album Info

Release Date: 1991

Label: Staaltape

Packaged in a gate-fold card sleeve, one side containing the disc and the other an 8-panel folded insert that includes the essay "Symbols of Transformation" by A. M. McKenzie..

"This work was originally released as a cassette as a promotional tool for Edgar Rogers and The Bureaux Clothing Group in 1986 [by Touch]. The front cover bore their name and since then has been erroneously referred to as such due to its prominence over the title which appeared in considerably smaller type on the spine. For a number of mysterious and somewhat disturbing and unexpected reasons, this release, which was intended ONLY for the purposes outlined above, turned up for sale at retail outlets all over the world ... At this point, notwithstanding the above error of judgement by those supposedly in charge of the operation, the process The Hafler Trio are now involved in facilitates the re-release of this project with an additional up-date section without a single qualm of conscience ..." -- "Addenda" to "Symbols of Transformation"

"[Distributed?] In America [By] Soleilmoon Recordings."

"Made in The Netherlands": on sticker on rear of sleeve.
