Henry Shavings was born in a sod house in a small village of sod houses.

Later became father of 4 boys and 1 girl, who are now taking the interest of their father in singing.

Mostly self-taught, both in instrument and singing, by listening to radio and stereo.

There are lots of activities in life of Henry Shavings, but there is always time for sing time, which is always the best time, at Church, at home - is the same. Sing time takes place mostly during long, cold winter nights, whether it is calm or stormy, Henry Shavings family never notice, because their hearts are in the songs they sing.
