Album Info

Release Date: 1985

Label: Bona Fide Records

Reissue with different cover art (two aliens in a spaceship). Liner notes mention imminent release of the late-1985 second LP; release date for this reissue assumed to be mid/late 1985.

Liner Notes:
"This is the first Left record originally released by Bona Fide Records in the United States during the summer of 1984. This noisy barrage of distorted guitars and shouted lyrics is the culmination of several years of playing and partying together. Over the years the Left's style changed from '60s garage to hardcore punk , back to '60s punk and finally wound up somewhere in between, a mess of many diverse influences. Things continue to change. Soon Bona Fide will release the second and possibly last Left record. On the horizon are new recordings by two off-shoots which may or may not be called Monster Rock and the Dusters. You've been warned. In the meantime, this is the Let. They have a strong attachment, and admiration for forceful gut level rock'n'roll and you can hear that on every track of this LP."
