This release sees the conclusion of a journey spanning 27 years. Legendary Belgian artist Luc Van Acker's song 'Zanna' was the last track of my DJ set at a club one early blue skied morning in 1985. A few hours later my beloved sister Els lost her life in a car accident. Ever since, Zanna has held a special place in my heart.

I recently met Luc Van Acker and was thrilled to learn that he would agree to my remixing his Zanna.
Overlooking the myriad possible partners for this project I could turn to, I knew that only my dear friend CJ Bolland would understand its meaning and the emotional impact it would have on me. Together, we finally made real what had been a precious dream to me for over two decades.

It feels both as an achievement and a chapter concluded in beauty, even though it won't bring her back. Therefore, i can only encourage anyone that has a dream to go and pursue it.

In loving memory of Els Vandepapeliere, i give you Zanna. May the journey continue...
