Kiss Ass... Godhead! by The Membranes

Artists

Album Info

Release Date: 1988

Label: Constrictor

The track listings for both sides on back cover and on labels are wrong.
The labels themselves are also mis-pasted: The label of side A is pasted on side B and vice versa as you can discover by a look at the etchings and by listening to the record. Referenced to this the back cover lists the songs from side A as side B and vice versa. Even the durations of the songs printed on both labels aren't correct.

Moreover related to side B there are only 7 tracks listed on label and on back cover, "Cor Blimey Ain't England Snidey" and "Fuck My Old Boots (Robo Cop and Seacombe)" are missing and the listed "Flyspray" doesn't even exist. Someone may thought of "Dragonfly" which definitely is a song by The Membranes, but also can't be found on this release.

This album was also released on Homestead Records with catalog# HMS108-1 and totally rearranged track listing.
Constrictor's front cover is on black background, the Homestead Records' front-cover on pink.

Recorded at Lion Studios, Leeds (a town called Basterd) and in Chicago, USA.
Remixes at Hangto Studios, Tokyo and Guten Nacht Vogel Studios, Berlin.

Title on labels is just "Kiss Ass, Godhead" with b & w pics of Groucho Marx and Margaret Dumont.
