The set includes a "sample" sticker on the rear tray card AND the word "sample" is stamped on the hub ring on both discs.

Tracks 1-06, 1-21 and 2-12 are credited to Art Neville (as they were on the original 45 releases.) In reality, they are the first recordings made by The Meters.

1-06 is NOT the original 45 version; it is lacking the horns heard on the original single

Track 1-11 is not the single version; it is an unedit master recording minus some of the overdubs heard on the commercial single

Track 1-16 is the 70s re-make, NOT the hit version from 1966.

Track 2-05 is not the original single version; it is a faster, alternate take

Track 1-09 is listed as 4:30 in the set's liner notes; it is actually only 1:39
Track 1-14 is listed as 2:38; it actually runs 2:57
Track 1-17 is listed as 2:35; it actually runs 3:11
Track 2-09 is listed as 2:40; it actually runs 2:52
Track 2-20 is listed as 2:52; it only runs 2:26
(All other tracks run the lengths listed in the liner notes, plus or minus a couple seconds.)
