The cloth on the cover of this record is Phil’s “favorite shirt”. Following quote taken from a recent charity auction held by Phil selling this shirt. “It's my personal one, my favorite shirt that has been in the constant rotation of shirts for almost 20 years. …it says "SONGS AT NIGHT IN THE MOUNTAINS" and it has a picture of a bat. It was made around 2004. Back then I'd accumulate blank shirts from thrift stores and print on them. This one is "Gap" brand. White with gold stitching. I screenprinted it myself. this shirt is the fabric behind the tape on the cover of the record "Foghorn Tape" by the Microphones from 2021.”
