White Tamla labels first pressing. Pressing plant not identified.

The first Tamla labels have a white background with black printing. Above the center hole is a world globe with a record overlapping the lower half and offset to the right. Around the globe is "TAMLA", the oceans on the globe, and the center of the record, are an indigo (dark bluish purple) color. These labels were used from TM 220 to TM 231. I'll Try Something New, from a different pressing plant has yellow labels with the same logo, adding "Motown Record Corp. • 2648 W. Grand Blvd • Det., Mich."
