This is the original pressing, on red vinyl. None of the original pressings were made on black vinyl. An unauthorized bootleg of this ep was made under the band name "Tommy & The Piers" under the "Bobbette Records" label (The Shorebreak Sound, 7"EP, Bobbette Records, BB-376, 1982). The Piers have never recorded, nor appeared under the band name "Tommy & The Piers, or "Tommy and the Piers." The only authentic version of this record is on red vinyl, and released by the "The Piers." For those of you who have this record and happen to have, or can get your hands on a DBX decoder, it will sound much better if played through the decoder. This record was mastered using an early 1980s version of DBX noise reduction.
