Lou Rawls was once a Pilgrim Traveler, Bobby Womack - Great Singers filled the same auditorium with them and played sell-out houses: Della Reese, Mahalia Jackson, David Ruffin of the Temptations, Clara Ward and Brook Benton.

THE PILGRIM TRAVELERS were the first Gospel Group to play the famous "Harlem Apollo" Theatre in 1953. Some of the most beautiful songs of today have the strain of Black artistic beauty...native American beauty...These are the songs you hear THE PILGRIM TRAVELERS sing.
