tr. 1 - 7: original recordings from the 'Emotions' LP sessions 1 in 1966 as The Pretty Things played them live in the studio. Pure and pretty without the annoying overdubs and overproduction which were designed to 'sweeten' The Pretties' sound, but in truth never suited their musical style!

tr. 8 -9: BBC TV 'A Whole Scene Goin', November 1965

tr. 10 - 11: 'Beat Club', German TV, December 1965

tr. 12 - 13: BBC Radio, resp. 1968 - 1970. Both tracks were never released officially

tr. 14 - 15 (bonus tracks): live in Amsterdam, March 29, 1969. They give a rough idea how The Pretty Things sounded live during their psychedelic phase
