The Primary 5 is the solo project of ex-Soup Dragons/Teenage Fanclub drummer Paul Quinn. The new album "High Five" with acclaimed producer Nick Brine (Oasis, Ash), Norman Blake (Teenage Fanclub) and Jim McCulloch (Isobel Campbell & Mark Lanegan). The album has many obvious influences including The Shins, The Byrds, Ennio Morricone, REM, Big Star and CSY but clearly defines its own identity. Includes "I Wonder Why" and "High Five".
