CD 2 of a two-piece Advance promo cd set for the 1997 Replacements double cd compilation "All For Nothing - Nothing For All". Though sent out to outlets bound by elastic, or perhaps plastic seal in some cases, these were two separate slimline jewel case cd's, each with their own generic covers. Interestingly there is absolutely no mention of the forthcoming album's title anywhere on the inserts or the discs themselves. Both were simply titled "The Replacements" and asides from their obvious difference in track-listing on the sleeves, they are otherwise only told apart only by the terms "CD1" and "CD2" being integrated into their catalog codes.
Both sound absolutely identical to the commercial release that followed. There are no edits (such as early fade-outs) or missing songs. Even the track order is the same.
This second of these promo discs may be of interest to fans who already own all the studio albums on cd so therefore have no need for disc one in the official compilation (which was just a compilation of previously released album tracks) yet do want the non-album/unreleased or otherwise rare tracks which made up the entirety of disc 2.
