Smother was recorded between the 6th & 12th of January '94 in the suitably smothering heat of Lismore. The songs were recorded on a 16 15 14 track in the studio at Southern Cross University. Darren played all the tricky guitar bits, as well as Mandolin on Na Na Na. Stephen drummed as well as playing guitar on Crave; and sang harmonies on each track. Brad played and constructed bass lines and backed up on vocals in most tracks. Cheyne sang, and played rhythm guitar on the green wally-box thing. Richard Herczeg produced the album - thanks, Buzz.
