Bootleg recording from a gig in Paradiso, Amsterdam, The Netherlands, 28.08.83. The same recording as the other one listed.

In the eighties (luckily from a historical perspective) a lot of soundboard recordings were made at most Dutch venues. This is one of them. The story about this one is great (about a fan getting the opportunity to record through the soundboard instead of a walkman) although I can't verify it other than that the tape switch during Burn is noticeable. This is a genuine tape I bought back in the eighties amongst other (semi-legal, although it wasn't perceived back than, more as an ultimate fan thing) live recording tapes, distributed at local record stores and swapped between at least the Amsterdam and The Hague soundboard recorders.
This tape has different, more in line with the other eighties live recording tapes artwork. So just plain Xeroxed / Photocopy which was the cheapest most common available thing back in the eighties. So it doesn't look as fancy as the other one. Tape used is a regular Sony HF90 no labels used. One small other thing is that the last song of the set is listed only as Sister Ray / Louie Louie.
I won't make claims about this being a first edition but save to say the soundboard recorder proved a lot of SoM fans a great favour judging by the number of bootlegs stemming from this recording. It's a great gig and one of the early ones.
