Paraphrased Liner Notes:
Track 1: Recorded in Billy Corgan's bedroom, includes the sounds of morning buses.
Track 2: Recorded in 1 hour, owes a great debt to the band Skunk, from whom part of the song is "ripped off".
Track 3: Demo assembled in Billy Corgan's bedroom, recorded at Kerry's studio; bass "borrowed" from Eric of Deep Blue Dream; features the Maestro Phase, on loan from Matt S.
Track 4: Recorded in 1 hour, part of the Glynis lineage.
Track 5: The only song Smashing Pumpkins have done that Billy Corgan did not "stick [his] nose" into; Jimmy was on vacation.
Track 6: One of the few songs the band has ever recorded live; done during the Siamese Dream sessions; lyrics made up in 10 minutes.
Track 8: Originally supposed to be on the Lull EP, written during Gish recordings.
Track 9: Recorded at the BBC.
Track 10: Recorded at the same time as Track 3, and was also intended to be a demo; recorded over time, or recorded at two different sessions, one for vocals and solos and one for drums, etc.; includes the sound of a police car going by.
Track 11: The only Gish outtake represented here.
Track 12: Originally recorded by The Animals.
Track 13: Recorded this and Tristessa on the same day.
