One translation of Mirabilia is “Wonderful Things” and this was chosen as it was supposedly what Howard Carter replied when asked what he could see upon peering into the tomb of Tutankhamun for the first time. The idea then was to consider some "Wonderful Things", both in the macro and micro world around us. Some are obvious, but at least one will be difficult to work out.

The instruments used were lashings of Cherry Audio Voltage Modular (including Moog and ARP modules), liberal amounts of Cherry Audio Minimode, Polymode and 2600, a few slices of Cherry Audio Memorymode, a splash of Points & Lines, Berna3 and Bento Noise Box from Giorgio Sancristoforo, a hefty dash of various RedTrons, and finally bucket-loads of virtual effects. All recorded live (to audio) and brought together, mixed and mastered in Reaper.
