'Grey Skies Blue' was issued as a box set containing a glass plate still and a mini-USB drive that's connected by a ball chain to a silver foil letterpress card. The mini-USB drive contains approx. 6.5GB of data: WAV audio (48kHz / 24-bit) + 2x MOVs (1080p / 24fps / 60,000kbps video) and a MP4 (2230 x 576 pixels / 25fps / 12,000kbps video).This limited edition box set was released by Almanac Recordings, and launched during the Darebin Music Feast at the Northcote Uniting Church on Saturday, October 26th 2019.
First exhibited as a multi-channel AV installation at Neon Parlour Gallery in Northcote, VIC, Australia between July 12th and 22nd 2017. The Spheres performed a live score to 'Grey Skies Blue' as part of the exhibition’s closing night celebrations.
